Why this pocketful exists

Pocketful of Tips is a collection of practical, everyday tips for people living with chronic conditions, from psoriasis and celiac disease to arthritis, IBS, anxiety and more. Not a medical resource, not a product catalogue — just the little things that actually help.

Tips come from two places. Community tips are first-person experiences, shared by people who've tested them in real life. Research notes are drawn from scientific studies and trusted health organisations; they're marked "From the research" and always link to their source.

Everything is organised so you can find the tips that fit your situation, and the community can flag what genuinely worked.

Health disclaimer

Tips shared here are personal experiences, not medical advice. Always talk to your doctor before changing your care.

Affiliate disclosure

Some of the product links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something through one of them, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. Those links are always labelled "Paid link" right next to the link itself.

Money never decides what appears here. It doesn't affect which tips get published, and it doesn't affect the order they appear in — tips are ranked only by how many people said they helped.

Products that someone simply mentioned in their tip are labelled "Community-reported". We have no affiliate relationship with those, and we haven't independently verified them.

We never link to prescription products, ever.
