Canadian labels: read the "Contains / May contain" line first

Start with the "Contains" or "May contain" statement. If it lists wheat, rye, barley, regular oats or triticale, Celiac Canada recommends avoiding the product. In Canada, gluten sources must be clearly named on packaged foods, so they can't hide under "seasoning". Check the label every time.
